When writing a please keep in mind that every page should be clear, concise, accurate, and factual. To build the best community possible, we have established the three following guidelines:
- Civil
The MR2 Wiki is a group effort to create a great resource: the world's largest MR2 information source. You must expect your writing to be modified, criticized, or improved by others. Changes should be viewed in the spirit of improvement and not as a criticism of your approach or capabilities. On the other hand, when editing someone else's work, always be friendly, civil, and supportive. Never make any personal attacks. Assume good faith in everyone's efforts.
- Factual
The wiki is not a good place to hold discussions, so keep all writing factual. Avoid using "I" or "we". Avoid stating or presenting opinions, unless a topic has no clear concensus, and you present a range of opinion. If you use other resources as a basis for your writing ensure you list the source. Profanity, adult content, potty humor, hate based, anti-social, recreational drug focused, racist content, or instructions for obviously damaging activities are inappropriate in the wiki. - Non-advertising
The MR2 Wiki exists to help people, not for product promotion. While we encourage useful articles containing links to products, writers should refrain from creating articles to purely promote one specific business without providing useful insights.
