This is a compilation of weight for many MKII MR2 parts. Thanks to everyone who has helped weigh parts they removed, JekylandHyde, HarrisRacing, and others!

Jekyl and Hyde’s winter list:

+50 lbs - Sparco Seats with brackets/sliders (both seats)
-78 lb - OEM seats … my driverside seat weighed 39 lbs! (didn’t weigh the p-side)
+5 lbs - Simpson 5-point harness
-2 lbs = oem subwoofer
-11 lbs = fire wall carpet
-5 lbs = the carpet on the floors
-25 lbs = fiberglass hood replaces OEM hood
-3.5 lbs = Cruise control actuator
3 lbs 7.5 oz = Radio speakers from doors
6 lbs 4.2 oz = Radio & CD player
1 lb 11.4oz = Power Steering ECU
2 lbs 12.9 oz = Power Steering driver
12.8 oz = Cruise ECU and switch
1 lb 10.5 oz = ABS ECU
6 lbs 7.5 oz = A/C evaporator and related lines
3 lbs 12.1 oz = Center console storage box
-32 lbs 3.9oz = Power steering rack, motor, lines, and hardware
+13 lbs 4.1oz = Manual rack weighs so we have about a 19lb savings.

gas = 6 lbs a gallon at 72 degrees, MR2 tank can hold 14.3 gallons, so if you want to know how much that half a tank of gas is weighing you down it is 42 lbs (6 lbs x 7 gallons).

(These weights are vague imo because they don't specify options such as PS/ABS/CC/ which can be a 75 lb difference.

(Yes I know they are saying the hardtop weighs more, this is why I think this weight listing is inaccurate)

These weights seem much more accurate as MANY stock hardtop n/a mr2s with a lightweight exhaust, no PS/ABS/CC weigh between 2450-2500 (SCCA E-Stock MR2s) so this make sense with the options accounting for around 75 lbs of options and gas as well.
